Walks of Hope

After Friday’s group we walk together to raise awareness of suicide, including to the Cleggs Lane bridge over the M61, so that anyone in that place knows they are not alone. Members of the public are welcome to join us.

Learn & move

Hands-on learning that sticks, like the A.L.E.C. model for starting conversations with the men in your life. Plus fitness activities, and volunteering in the community, such as clearing paths at St Paul’s Peel for wheelchair and pram access.

Questions men often ask

Still unsure? Ring us on 07756 989735. No pressure, just a chat.

Do I need a referral?

No. You can simply walk in. Professionals and family can also refer someone to us by email if that feels easier.

Does it cost anything?

Nothing at all. Every group and activity is completely free for men aged 18 and over.

I’m nervous. Do I have to talk?

Not at all. Plenty of men just listen for the first few weeks. You share when you’re ready, and only what you want to.

Is this a crisis service?

No. We offer peer support and fill the gaps around the NHS. If you are in danger right now, call 999 or Samaritans free on 116 123.

Can I join online?

Yes. We offer support both in person and online. Get in touch and we’ll tell you how to join.

Is the venue accessible?

Little Hulton Pavilion is wheelchair accessible, with free parking and toilets on site.
